Major version in the URL path (/v1). Backwards-compatible additions ship at any time. Breaking changes ship behind /v2 with 12 months' notice.

12 August 2026 - Expanded public HSN references: classification pages now include available BCD, IGST, SWS, AIDC, notification, FTA, compliance, and trade-policy context, with direct links into a prefilled duty estimate. The calculator includes supported percentage-based duty components and declines shipment-specific levies that cannot be calculated safely from HSN and value alone. No API action is required.

11 August 2026 - Clearer subscription checkout and renewal: checkout now shows the initial charge, recurring mandate ceiling, supported payment methods, selected plan, and next renewal amount separately. No API action is required.

10 August 2026 - More reliable reference-data freshness: marketplace responses and operational views now distinguish verified, stale, unavailable, and intentionally disabled sources. Integrations should continue reading the existing source and effective-date fields.

27 July 2026 - Stronger AI answer verification: AI Trade Impact and related analysis views now make evidence links, confidence, and deterministic values easier to distinguish. AI output remains advisory and should be checked against cited sources.

22 July 2026 - Customer account security: organization administrators can manage members with stronger password controls, email OTP verification, and auditable role changes.

Entries describe externally observable changes only. Internal deployment, migration, and incident work is intentionally excluded.

A release that requires an integration change will state the affected endpoint, migration window, replacement contract, and deadline. If none is stated, the release is backwards compatible.
